I remember as a child my cousins and I were expected to entertain our families on holidays. I was Diana Ross and they, the Supremes or I was Michael of the Jackson Five, etc. They loved it and got great pleasure from watching us express our little selves and we loved rehearsing and could put on a show in a matter of minutes. We loved it! There were and are musicians and singers on both sides of my family, so I’m not at all surprised that I showed up in this world this way.

I’m a practicing Nichiren Shoshu Buddhist of almost 40 years and chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo is my mantra. It means devotion to the mystic Law of Cause &  Effect. So, what it does is it replaces the poison of anxiety inside me with an awesome feeling of excitement and anticipation.

Acting is my second, but when I’m in the thick of it, it feels like my first love. It comes natural for me and I’m told that I take direction very well. I just haven’t experienced nearly as much of it as I plan to.

I’ve done some festivals over the years, but primarily perform for  private events, so there’s no telling where you might find me.
